001 — Origin
What began as a personal fascination with the cichlids of Lake Tanganyika has grown into a dedicated home breeding facility. We specialise in the species that have evolved in isolation for millions of years — fish of extraordinary intelligence, distinct personalities, and ancient lineage.
Every tank in our facility is maintained to the exact water chemistry of the lake: a pH of 8.5, hardness above 10 dGH, and temperatures between 24 and 26 degrees. We do not cut corners. The fish feel it, and you will see it in their colour, behaviour, and health.

Ethical Breeding
We breed for health and vitality, not volume. Our fish are raised in appropriately sized colonies with natural social structures intact.

We maintain documented lineage from wild-caught stock. No hybrids, no shortcuts. What you receive is what the lake intended.
Live Arrival
Every shipment is insured. If a specimen does not arrive alive, we refund or replace — no questions, no friction.
