We sell live fish, bred and raised at our own facility. Live animals are naturally variable — colour, pattern and size will differ slightly between individuals of the same species, and product photos represent the species/line generally rather than guaranteeing the exact appearance of the individual fish you’ll receive. Where a photo is a placeholder or reference image rather than our own stock, we say so directly on that product page.

Stock levels shown on the site are indicative and update regularly, but aren’t a live, second-by-second guarantee — in the rare case an item sells out between you adding it to cart and completing checkout, we’ll contact you to sort out a refund or substitute.

Placing an order and completing payment is an offer to buy, not an automatic contract — we confirm acceptance when your order is confirmed for dispatch. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order (with a full refund) if, for example, stock turns out to be unavailable, we can’t safely or legally ship live animals to your address, or we reasonably suspect fraud.

Orders shipping to Western Australia or the Northern Territory require permit confirmation before payment is taken — see Shipping. We’re currently unable to ship live fish to Tasmania.

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST where applicable. Shipping is calculated separately at checkout based on order size — see Shipping for current rates.

Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We don’t see or store your full card details — see our Privacy Policy for details on how payment data is handled.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can’t lawfully be excluded. Where our liability can be limited under that law, it’s limited, at our option, to replacing the goods or fish in question, or refunding the amount paid for them.

To the extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential loss (such as loss of livestock you already own arising from an issue with fish we supplied) beyond what’s required by the Australian Consumer Law.
