About Nkambae
Lepidiolamprologus kendalli 'Nkambae' is a torpedo-shaped predatory Tanganyikan built to ambush smaller fish. "Nkambae" was long traded as its own species (L. nkambe) but genetic studies have folded it into L. kendalli as a locality variant — we still list it under its well-known trade name since that's what most keepers search for. Best suited to a spacious tank stocked with tankmates too large to be seen as a meal.
